Terrible, Unprofessional Place to Live

We moved into these apartments some time ago. It was okay for a while, until we noticed the amount of problems that these apartments have. The buildings are so old and ignored, you don't know if your things are going to catch fire from the fifty year old wires in the wall. Any time you ask for something to be fixed, then your problem being fixed depends entirely on whether or not the staff has a hangover or not. Air Conditioners in these apartments go out like no one's business; everyone complains about the Air Conditioners.

Come to find out, the air conditioners don't even have covers on them (on the roof) - so they freeze up very frequently in the summer months, leaving you with no A/C whatsoever. If you complain about it, they will very literally blame you, accusing you of putting the temperature too low. Every time I have complained about something, they have come to "Fix" it, but it never gets fixed; ever! The people that are hired as maintenance are extremely inexperienced, and have no apprentice/journeyman/craftsman/master license whatsoever.

The staff is composed primarily of alcoholics. In exception of the woman that you will meet in the front office, the staff is despicable beyond any comprehension of professional courteousness. Staring out my window, I witnessed the primary Manager - Tammy - literally scream and then choke (with her hand) one of the maintenance people. I've seen the staff get in out-right screaming fights on more than one occasion.

I'm afraid to let my three daughters go outside, since there are so many trashy people around. So many people here are extremely shady, and act like crime is their primary concern in life. On at least thirty five (that's not an over-estimation) occasions I have seen Police officers in the parking lot; and usually arresting residents.

Why are we staying here' Because it's cheap and if you keep to yourself then it might be worth the monthly rent.
