I will agree with previous reviewers that there have been problems here. However, I believe that the staff is very good. If you call the office with a maintenance request, maintenance is always there on the same day, usually within an hour. The manager and assistant manager are easy to deal with and very friendly. The buildings are old but are being taken care of. The roof on our building has been replaced, and all of the wooden stairs and balconies have been replaced or repaired in this past spring. Maybe it's not the best or newest in Abilene, but it's a good value. The rent is comparable to others in Abilene and it is all bills paid, which is a big plus.
