My wife and I are in our second year at UP in an efficiency apartment. While the first year was pleasant if cramped and overpriced, lately the place has become too loud for my tastes. The walls are incredibly thin and all the neighbors are incredibly fond of the bass in their stereo systems. Rules are not enforced, security gates have been closed one day in the whole time I have been here, and while the staff is friendly, they have a tendency not to follow through on some issues. During holiday breaks, don't be surprised if you can't do laundry, receive packages, or get help from the office. Parking is a joke around the more crowded buildings. And certainly don't expect to live here if you are married! At least the campus police respond quickly. Now I'm stuck with an overpriced (very, very overpriced lease). Avoid this place, please!
