1. Utility bills are sky high here. There are little signs out front stating they are redoing the interiors. Who cares. Are they putting in insulation, are they weather stripping, are they putting in a/c and heating units that are energy efficient with adequate BTU's' No, No, No, No. They are trying to lure you in with cheaper cosmetic changes. Don't buy it or you will be literally be buying electic utility prices that will keep you broke.

2. Management is pathetic. It's like they know you are here and you are stuck with them. They try to fix old stuff that should be redone and they show up like six or seven times to repair it over two or three months. Things that should be fixed on day one, you have to keep calling and calling and calling about. Then they act like you are impossible to please. That sucks big time and who wants to deal with that crap.

3. Crime is definitely here. People get their cars broken into all the time. Do you know what it costs to replace one little car window' I do. I had to replace mine twice and insurance did not cover it. It costs $400.00 -- twice.

Add this up. With what I have paid on crime issues and additional utility expenses I could have gone down the street to a nice place and had a much nicer apartment in a gated community, with new a/c units that are large enough to keep my utility bills down and that are really new and really nice!

In fact, that's exactly what I did. Wish I had just skipped the gheto experience and gone there to begin with. It would not have cost me a dime more when you consider the utility expenses and the theft.

Plus ... no child molestors here! and I have a garage. ( I don't have to pay EXTRA for covered parking.)

My monthly electric bill during the summer and deep winter months back in 2001 was approximately $200.00 for my 1 bedroom apartment! I can't imagine what tenants at Bent Tree Brook must be paying with energy prices like they are today. What a mess. I'm so glad I left this apartment community years ago.

Yea, and another expensive item folks!!!! The TOLL ROAD...good old Dallas Tollroad that literally is a rip off and they keep going up, and let's face it, if you want to get anywhere in a decent time frame - I mean who wants to sit at red light after red light after red light, just to get to point B? And you better believe they make the red lights on the service road (Dallas Parkway) extra, extra long to punish us for not using the expensive toll road. Oh I've timed them. Some of these red lights oughtta be shot! This is the same for all the service roads along all these toll roads (George Bush - have you ever sat at some of those red lights at 5am when there's NO traffic on the cross street, yet they've got the "busy" street, the service road, all red-light happy so we are sitting there, and sitting there, just getting old & gray, and burning gas and wasting time. I mean you can tell it's a game they are playing. If they really cared they would make those lights blinking yellow at 5 am instead of a 5-minute long red light with no traffic even around. It makes me sick.,
