This apartment complex used to be a decent place to live, where children felt free to play in common areas, such as around the fountains and tennis courts, and people could get to know their neighbors without expecting their neighbors to be vindictive or downright crazy.

First of all, new management is constantly writing letters such as this:

"Dear Residents,

We will be issuing pool pass[sic] for the residents of Bentree Oaks[sic:the apartment name is BENT TREE (two words) OAKS]. They should be here in a couple of weeks
...
Effective immediately we will no longer be accepting checks after the3rd [sic] of the month for late rent. It will be certified funds only.
...
We will be auditing the files regarding pets here at Bentree Oaks[sic]. If you have an unauthorized pet... Here at Bentree Oaks [sic] we do not accept aggressive breed dogs*
...
Please remember we do not allow loitering here at Bentree Oaks if you feel you need to visit with your friend that needs to be done in the comfort of your home not in the parking lots or breezeways
...

The problems with these letters are numerous, but to bring attention to some, *: The letter doesn't have an "aggressive breed dog" list attached, and : ----, the property 'manager', writes this awful run-on sentence that's barely passable 5th grade English.

I'm not saying my own language skills are perfect in any way, but the duly hired and appointed representative of the property owners need to be adequate enough so that their letter(s) make some sort of sense.

I really have no idea why we get these stupidly written letters CONSTANTLY, or why the water is shut off every two weeks for a whole day with NO EXPLANATION as to why.

I've lived here for several years, seen all sorts of office personnel, --------, ---, ---, ---------, and so on, and have never met someone as undertrained and as offensive as the current "undynamic duo".

If you're reading this and considering the apartment complex, wait until you hear of staffing changes before moving in, if you ask me.

I know why they are doing all of that. They think they can get the crime under control. So CRIME is the basis of the problem! Also, they are covering their ass legally. THey have sooooo much liability already. If that sexual pervert attacks anyone at this place after they have been told, and told, and told the liability is ALL THEIRS. Also, remember they are so big on telling everyone they run background checks. Their liability at this time is HUGE! This place has gone so far down hill they can never crawl out but they are trying. As long as they hire uneducated staff that has no independent ability to apply logical solutions to problems this will continue. IT IS HOPELESS! Maybe they could start with moving out the child molestors and running REAL checks on the residents, not just Texas Criminal checks. I know, that woman's an idiot, too. Unless they put someone in here with an education, experience and good judgment they will never, ever clean this place up. Also, unless they have a list of aggressive breed they have no legal leg to stand on. They need to list the breeds and put a weight limit in. I hope everyone that has been bitten there sues them. THEY ARE LIABLE! MOVE, MOVE, MOVE. WHEN RESIDENTS HAVE DIRECTLY ASKED THEM ABOUT THIS PAROLEE THEY SAY HE IS NOT A CONVICTED FELON. THEY DO BACKGROUND CHECKS AND HE DID NOT COME UP. THEY ALSO SAY THEY HAVE NOT BEEN NOTIFIED BY THE ADDISON POLICE DEPARTMENT ABOUT HIM. THEY THINK THAT IS ALL THEY HAVE TO DO AND THEY ARE PROTECTED. BELIEVE ME THEY ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN PROTECTING THEMSELVES. THEY ARE NOT INTERESTED IN PROTECTING YOU.

sounds like you all are very unhappy individuals. If it is so bad here why are you living here? Who would let their kid play in the fountains. They are not play toys. I have seen changes since new management has taken over. I am glad the letters have been sent out. sounds to me the only reason they would offend you is that you are the individual violating the policies.

you need to contact corporate management on this.. you can thank -------- from the Fountains who helped remove some of the staff around to replace them with some of her friends who are causing the problems. Dont bother with --- ---- as he is in with her.. contact ---- ------ is the President of Property Management. He can be reached in the corporate office here in Frisco. Hall Financial Group, Ltd. ------------ Let him know what is going on as they are all hiding this from the top and let them know about it. Just be glad you arent dealing with her at the Fountains as she is primarily the source of these major management problems.

This new manager is a fake.. she acts as if she gives a ---- and she doesn't. she's a racist and and liar. And I too think that -------- from the Fountains had alot to do with all these changes. My kids and I can't even go to the pool anymore because we have people smoking weed out there. I called the police one day and they arrested 5 people that day. Building lights are out all the time, you call for a workorder and it takes forever to get things done, and that new maintenance guy they have is a total idiot too. she knows nothing about anything.. I moved over here last year my lease is up on Feb 2008 and I'm OUT OF HERE...

What I think was funny was one of the letters about the water being turned off that stated that apologized for any incontinance this may cause. I almost sent it to David Letterman. Priceless!
