From my previous post back in February. It has been about six months now and I must say that I like it. Yes it's a little overpriced but the location is great. The only problem i have is that I can hear my neighbor who lives above me walking. Plus he stomps when he walks and the floors creek. Addison police is forever camped out in front of my building (facing addsion rd) to catch people speeding. They also patrol the back of the building as well. Bent Tree Oaks is fairly a quite apartment complex with great landscape up keeping. The believe in keeping the property clean. My electricity bill is reasonable, but the WATER BILL is ridiculous. I'm paying 60.00 a month on water. WTH for?? I don't use that much water. Since summer has arrived my apartment stays cool. The A/C unit will freeze you out. I was shocked at how cool my apartment will stay even though the sun is beaming in through the kitchen and living room windows. I never have to set my thermostat below 77 for it to be cool, unless you like Alaska type temperatures.
Now the apartment manager, ----, is not a people person. She doesn't know how to talk to people but you have to look past her and be upfront with her. She will work with you in the office but you must keep your word to whatever agreement you make with them. All in all I haven't experienced any major problems since I've been living here and I am considering re-signing another lease unless something goes wrong. So yes, I reccommend Bent Tree Oaks.

Umm didn't you just say the cops were here last night because of a fight. WTH you are talking about I have no clue. What I was saying about the cops always being seen around here is a good thing. Maybe you need to re-read what I said, but they are always on the side I'm on looking for speeders. I said nothing in reference to them being camped out here because of problems here. Anyway, all in all this is a good place to live. I have no idea what the person above is trying to say, alot of contradictions to me coming out of there mouth. My credibility is just fine. I'm stating my opinions of the place just like any potential renter or renter living here is entitled to do.

My electric bill was over half my rent.
My air conditioner has been on non-stop for two days and I am sitting in my apartment sweating.
The cops had to be called last night about a fight here.
The landscaping is what is making our rent so high. They run the sprinkler system all the time. I would rather it die than pay for all their watering.
I do not know what the poster means about the cops being camped out. That's absurd. Drive by and see if you see them. I never have. They are up the street looking for school zone violators not here. That's a weird and untrue thing to post. Makes you really wonder about the credibility of the poster.
