Wow, I do not even know where to start:
My fiance and I have lived in this complex since 2004. OLD management was great! Now... fastforward to 2008. New management took over. My hot water heater BUSTED while I was gone.... leaving the ENTIRE downstairs of my apartment FLOODED. Badly. when you would step the water would reach your ankle. this extended all through the downstairs bedroom and closet and living room. I contact management... they send someone out to turn the power off to the hot water heater... but it must still drain. Then, they send out a carpet company to get the water out. This is where it gets good... don't stop reading! They put ALL of my furniture from my bedroom in the Kitchen and my Living room furniture is all disconnected and pushed and stacked in one corner. They remove the padding UNDER the carpet. Then they LEAVE saying they will be back in ONE WEEK to put new padding back and I have to let the carpet DRY. they didn't even SUCK the water OUT of the carpet! Sooooo leaving the mildew smell for a whole week, all my furniture is still stacked how they left it. A week passes and they don't show up when they say they will. I TOOK OFF OF WORK TO BE HERE WHEN THEY SHOWED UP!!!! Then mind you a whole another week passes!!!! and I am leaving to go out of town and tell the manager that the carpet people still have not showed up. I come back from vacation and see that they did in fact put the padding back UNDER the carpet, but did not do anything about getting the mildew smell from the carpet and did NOT put my furniture back into place!!! And they broke my entertainment stand that had my TV on it!!! Seriously'' This is how they do business. THEN i do believe it gets better... I got a note on my door today saying that they are now under a NEW management company! LOL! They need to burn this place down. I am out of here on Oct. 1! I broke my lease to get far away from stupidity. I am told that my apartment is already leased... so to the poor sole that has assumed responsibility... I feel for you ... and the mildew smell that overtakes you when you come home everyday. Also your electricity bills will be $200 on average your entire stay due to poor insulation and old construction.
