I was inticed by the price and location... But, my experience has been HORRIBLE. There are bugs even when my apartment is sprayed. Bugs coming out of the carpet. I have surround sound equipment, but can't use it because the walls are ultra thin. I've heard my neighbors having sex, I've heard arguments, I've heard loud music vibrating through the walls, and I've even heard someone's television. The maintenance IS NOT RESPONSIVE. I have work orders dated back 7 months ago that haven't been tended to. Water has leaked through my ceilings from a storm and caused structural damage and mold. It has been 3 weeks and counting and there has been no response. My breaker went out and because maintenance is so slow, my food spoiled and I had to throw out $100 worth of good food. The office staff is nice, but not up to par. It seems as though management is having finanical issues. The two things that originally sold me on the apartments were the free drop off laundry service and the free athletic club membership. However, the free laundry service went from 2 big laundry baskets per week to 1 small laundry basket per week. The new laundry lady sucks. Sometimes my clothes are damp and are not folded. She is unlike the old laundry lady who took pride in her work. Doing laundy at the apartments or a public facility are expensive in the area, so finding a new pad with a w/d is more beneficial then the "free service". Although the free fitness pass is a plus, if you're an Addison resident, most apts in the area have that incentive. If they don't it only cost $10 a year... I convinced management to allow me to move out before my lease expires because I have been very unhappy and not satisfied with the services. I can't wait to be out of here!
