Before I comment on the property, let me start off by saying that I have taken note that with every single property, without fail, there will be a bad review. Even the nicest properties have bad reviews. So, making an informed decision solely based on reviews would be tricky. Also, what sets someone off, may not affect another person at all. It all just depends on what you are most sensitive towards. Me. It's noise. I like peace and quiet. So, with that being said, here is my honest opinion about this property. I am not saying this out of spite, or out anger. This is my most sound, logical review of Bent Tree Park.

I have lived here for about 5 years, if not more. My main concerns are the following. 1) Addison Police frequents this complex quite often. Their police station is down the street less than a minute away. I have actually spoken to one of the police officers, and they told me that they frequent the area because of car theft. So, I was not surprised to hear about a smashed in car window in one of the reviews I read regarding this property.

2) I don't know if this is my bad luck, or what. But two people have moved in and out next door to me. And each one was just as noisy as the other. This morning around 10AM I woke up to loud music. It was loud that I heard it in my dreams. LOL. I was not mad. Just mildly annoyed. The people before them, used to have loud parties. And loud music too. They didn't have bad taste though. Ha.

3) They just built a fitness center. I have not been inside. And they remodeled their leasing office. No one uses the tennis court. The kid's park is small. It's okay. I don't have kids, so, it doesn't make much difference to me. I don't know about you.

4) From time to time there will be noise from a leaf blower, or chainsaw cutting around trees or bushes near your window. This is every once in a while. So I am not greatly disturbed by it.

5) The laundry mats now use a re-loadable laundry card. And there are new washers and dryers. That's great because the old ones were out of order sometimes.

6) The covered parking is no longer first come first serve. You have to pay. A tow truck frequents sometimes at night. So you must park anywhere that is not covered parking.

7)The carpet is not bad. The door knobs however, are loose, and so the locks don't work.

8) Maintenance does make 10 revolutions around the earth before repairing particular issue. But I don't have a lot of requests. Maybe 1, if any, in a year or so that I would consider important.

That's about it. My biggest concern/complaint is the noise. Would I recommend Bent Tree Park' If you were my family, I would say to keep your options open. This place is pretty average. And it's what you would expect from an average property. And if this place suits you, then great. If not, then don't move in. ;p Make your call.
