Georgeous, spacious property. Parking lots have more greenry than some parks. Property is not jammed together. There is room to breathe. Quarum park, which backs the property, helps make the place so pretty.

Management is the best I have ever encountered, not just in the Dallas area, but anywhere.

Apartments have great insulation. Utility costs are much lower than for other apartments in the area.

The spaciousness makes for a quiet complex. Even though it is near the Addison airport, it somehow avoids the noise. I think this is a coincidence of placement. If you think of the airport as a "noise bow-tie", Bent Tree Trails is by the knot, and misses the big decibles.

Downstairs dweller can sometimes hear upstairs dweller (pretty standard for Dallas).

Note that one covered parking space comes with the apartment. You do not pay extra.

Office staff is actually there during office hours and are happy to help with any problem. Maintenance is great.

The selection of DVDs and videos is rotated regularly.

Only two oddities, and I don't consider them problems: (1) it can take awhile for hot water to get from the common boiler of the building to your faucet; (2) if you want satellite TV, you have to go through a services company.

When I moved out, I did a good job cleaning, and they gave me back my entire deposit. They didnýt keep one cent.

Now I am moving back (Feb 2004). Note that I was able to transfer my DirecTV commitment to the services company, but it is slightly more expensive.

I'm still here and still think it is a great place. Would be nice if I could upgrade my kitchen counters, but that's a nit-pick.
