This place is overpriced at this point. Management is raising the cost to 'market' value. They are using new apartments which are incredibly upscale located close to the Addison Circle in their calculation. That does not represent a proper comparable. Consequently, the stated MARKET VALUE is misrepresented and these are significantly overpriced.

These are okay but not great and they are extremely old. Insulation is wholly inadequate, the windows leak like a sieve. Get ready for some serious, serious electricity expense, particularly in the winter. The noise from Addison Airport takes some serious getting used to as well. Very, very annoying and then there is the Tollway and constant sirens from the other side. You will hear every ambulance and Firetruck in the area.

Maintainence is a nightmare, totally. -------------, our maintenance men need a leader or a course in maintainence.

Everything everyone says about Brion Enterprises is completely true. Cable television is impossible and internet is a nightmare...

Bottomline if you are going to pay these prices get something newer closer to the Circle. The new prices here, which management is calling 'market price' are way, way overpriced unless you are lucky enough to get an apartment on the back.

At this price these cannot be recommended.

I concur on the pricing here. At this point you should get a newer apartment with better insulation. I will be leaving at the end of my lease based on the electricity bills, these are all electric, and the service from Brion Enterprises. I read what the poster wrote about cable and the FCC October 2007 act. The last time I called AT&T I could not get cable here. The only cable television here comes from Brion Enterprises. And it is Direct TV and it is not a good solution. To get bundled internet with Brion means you will have unrelilable service. You can get internet from AT&T but it is not through the cable line. It is through the telephone line. It is slow and it is expensive because the price is not bundled with you television cable. You end up paying two different carriers. So I do agree you will pay more for electricity here and you will pay more for cable television and internet because to get reliable products they cannot be bundled but must be purchased individually. Management is okay but they are here to protect the owners' interests. I don't know if these are overpriced but I do know that for not much more money I can have a much nicer place and that is what I am going to do.

Oh, that is so funny -- can you provide some thoughts/places names of good alternatives. So sounds like management motivated to me. If they are going to post --- address the issues PLEASE. Why Brion Enterprises, why inadequate HVAC units, why leaky windows and doors? Let's have some managment input that addresses these issues, PLEASE. BTW, I have found a place to the south, near Belt Line which I think is a bit better than this place and the cost is not much greater plus they have garages. I am so out of here when my lease is up or sooner if possible.

This is so funny ... do you really think ANONYMOUS is the SAME PERSON??? Or is this management posting again holding disdain for the messenger and failing to respond to some very consistent messages here: 1. Brion Enterprise and No CABLE 2. Leaky doors and windows. We all know that management has suggested to certain residents with whom they have close relationships that they post. If you live here and listen to the gossip you KNOW that. WOuld love to have management stand up to the plate and address these issues that appear over and over on this board.
