I've lived at Camden Addison for 3 years but have to move closer to work and family. This is the best apartment I've ever lived in for several reasons. I've always recieved incredible service from the staff. I had to break a lease and move within the complex once and they were not only very understanding, but they transfered my deposits and waived all fees so that I could just start paying my standard rent. All maintaince requests were serviced same-day or next-day. Rent has only gone up by $20 dollars on renewals. Fitness center is very nice for an apartment. They have a full complement of free weights which is my personal preference. The pool life is very good in the summer. People are friendly and willing to chat. The monthly resident breakfast is getting better all of the time with a omlette bar and made to order waffels.

I have recommended this apartment to everyone that is looking for a place in this area. And, all of my friends are at least a little envious of this complex for one or more of the reasons that I mentioned.

I'm not joking in my title. I've measured all other apartments in my apartment hunting to the standard of living here at Camden Addison.

I lived at Camden Addison from Oct 2005 to March 2006. I was a homeowner who was displaced from New Orleans. This place welcomed me and made my transition easy. I resent the person who made the comment about hurricane evacuees. You must be quite simply a racist. This was a clean, quiet community, except for the jerks who moved downstairs--two guys in a one bedroom throwing loud parties all night and they were NOT hurricane evacuees! The management responded to my complaints about them. I had never lived in an apartment before in my life and this place put me at ease. Expensive, but it is trendy Addison, but a great complex. People who complained must have been a problem and didn't get deposits back or made trouble. You get what you give.

@ camdenistheworst: I was not paid to write my review. I wish I'd seen this comment before now so I could have rebutted sooner. I was just a resident, and I stand by my review for the time I lived there. I have no idea what the community is like now.
