10. Dog ---- - the dog owners REFUSE to clean up after their animals. I have driven my stoller through more piles of crap than is imaginable. In the summer heat, that is all you can smell. The best is when the tenants carry the provided black bags, then look around, and walk away without any cleaning up. Nice.
9. Bugs. We have had the exterminator here 6 times this past winter. Granted, bugs are expected in Texas - but the number of ants and coachroaches were out of hand. The office staff laughed when i told them I was worried about my 3 month old and this problem with spraying.
8. Mold problems have forced atleast one known tenant out . Camden - had "graciously" set them up in a low class hotel, stating that they are able to leave their apartment at any time due to health reasons. The maitenance crew spoke Spanish (surprise!) unaware that the tenant did as well - and stated this was a serious health risk.
7. The office held contests over the Christmas holidays- promising a number of huge prizes ($500 gift certificates, etc.) . ONly a handful of people participated - but when it came time for the prizes, none were annouced and everything was "hushed" . HMMMMMM. why are all of those office member no longer here''''''
6. We have recently been charged, twice, with a double water bill. Is this really a problem with the city of addison, or is this paying your pool parties and sprinker bills'
5. Sex offenders on the premises. Also cool - there are kids running "free" all day long at the pool and near the far end of the gates. Who will be to blame when there is another missing'
4. The controlled gates don't work - and when they do, the low-life people just follow you in anyway to their obvious destinations.
3. SUPER-HIGH turnover in office staff. We have only been here a year and have seen three different sets of people . Don't try to go above them, though, because the District manager is extremely rude pretentious.
2. Pool parties. My husband and I are in our late 20's with a young child. We love to have drinks and socialize - however, if you go near the pool on any given weekend, you are likely to find broken glass (it was even spotted in the pool by maintenance),25 underage drinkers, and ridiculous screaming until late at night. You should tour the "community " on a monday morning when the poor guys are cleaning up this mess.
1. Drug dealers. Over the past 3 months there has been an EXTREME shift in the quality of people that are renting from this complex. I was willing to pay more to live in a safe environment, but since the Katrina evacuees have been forced to find other residence, we have been surrounded by a group of people that make me feel unsafe for my property, my child, and my life. The characters I have seen around here lately make my skin crawl. Listen to me, a young mother and wife, and move your family elsewhere.

This place is awful! When the Special Ops people were here last week I guess for a "Drug Bust" or something (at first I thought it was a shooting or a murder)... I called the apartments' "customer service" line... and of course they had no clue what the heck was going on... That is horrible! I didn't know whether or not it was safe to leave my apartment. I'm so glad I'm moving out of these apartment in 2 weeks!!!!!!!!!

There was not a drug bust last week at the apartments. It was for a search warrant. It had nothing to do with the managemtn or community as a whole. The complex must be good we have 2 new police officers moving here from other complexes.

Wow that sure makes someone feel alot safer you have 2 cops moving in on the premises. I would discourage consideration of even visting this location.
