We found Camden Addison online. The pictures looked great, a friend came to look at the premises as we were moving from out of state. WELL, the place has been going downhill since we moved in. There are broken down cars everywhere, we had ants, the other tenants that are moving in are clearly not the highest caliber of people. We recently had an incident with a random man leering around, the disgusting neighbor has rats in her apartment (we have pictures to prove it). I am absolutely disgusted from my stay for the past 6 months. The maintenance staff is clueless as well. I had to put in 3 requests to get a light bulb in the front replaced. My other neighbor (rat free I believe) blares his TV at all hours of the night. This is my second apartment and the dump I lived in college was the Ritz Carlton compared to this complex.

Hmmmm, so I guess we are the neighbors upstairs that drop "cinder blocks" at all hours. First, I don't recall us having any cinder blocks in our apartment. Second, we are never even home....except for a few hours before we are already in bed. I will say some of those complaints are true, but you are trying to say you are to rich to live here and we are all "trash". Well Yes, there are a lot of problems here, but for the most part they are all taken care of pretty quickly. Every apartment you live in will have problems and yes some problems are pretty disgusting and make me want to move as well. But I just wanted to let you know that we don't own any cinder blocks. BUT THANKS!

First of all you have to make three times the rent to live here and the rent is very high so I'm feeling that there are some lies in your posting, if I were you, I would get a house especially since your income and credit would certainly permit you to do so. I've lived here since January and I'm very happy, the property is very nice and so are my neighbors, I'm sure the property will be much nicer once scum like you moves out, with your income bracket and all I'm confused as to why you live in an apartment in the first place, hmmmmmmm?

I definately agree that one should keep looking, and not move into Camden Addison. Maintenance is definately running slow these days, and no one seems to want to pick up their dog poop on the property, parking sucks, and the office staff are either understaffed or dumb. I was recently displaced due to the rat infestation, and treated as a nuisance for complaining about my living conditions.
The more important thing I would like to discuss is that it is "clearly not the highest caliber of people." I find this to be a false statement, as I have actually lived in downtown Dallas surrounded by the kind of people you suggest Camden is housing. I have not come across any tenants that make me feel uncomfortable or unsafe, or that I feel probably dont make enough money to live there. As for a creey man wandering the premises it is bound to happen in just about any neighborhood or city. It sounds like you were expecting to move into The Azure where they valet your car, and only allow people in who are on "the list." From what I hear there are still many condos available ranging from 309,000 to 3.9 million. This might be more up your ally.

I still want to know who has rats and where are they. I've never seen a rat here and I've lived here a year. Ants are bad when it gets cold though...
