DO NOT MOVE HERE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE NIGHTLIFE THAT POST ADVERTISES. THEY ARE SLOWLY CLOSING ALL OF THE BARS. FIRST IT WAS THE DUGOUT, NEXT IT WAS RUBY LOUNGE, AND NOW THEY'RE GOING TO CLOSE ZEN'S. THEY REFUSE TO GIVE THE RESIDENTS ANY INFORMATION ABOUT THE CLOSINGS AND NOW THEY'RE RAISING RENT. IT'S RIDICULOUS!! MY LEASE IS UP SOON AND I'M DEFINITELY GETTING OUT OF HERE. SHAME ON POST FOR FORGETTING WHO THEIR MAIN DEMOGRAPHIC IS AND WHO HAS SUPPORTED THEM ALL OF THIS TIME.

I'd like to point out what I know... a) The Dugout was a place for idiots b) Ruby's moved to another location where they could get more business c) Zen is still open, nearly 18 months AFTER your review d) You are an idiot who obviously drinks too much

a.)The poster above is correct. Many from the Staubauch office did infact hang out at The Dugout for Happy Hour. b.)Ruby Lounge NEVER opened in another location. Many of the old patrons of Ruby Lounge are still in contact with the owners as they were extremely friendly and welcoming to their customers. They took care of them and would often buy them a drink, unlike the other bars in the area. c.)Zen has somehow been able to continue their business even with their noise levels, extreme smokey interior, numerous fights, and removal of their Mongolian Grill. d.) Calling somebody an idiot because they would like to partake in the nightlife that was promised during the lease signing smells of either 1.)a Post employee or 2.)a very bitter and insecure person. Either way, you can't stop the word from being heard.

ok so i worked at zen for about 21/2 years... i just quit in december and it is now the middle of 2008.. i know everyone who works there personally.. and not only are they NOT closing but a year and a half ago they opened another location in austin ranch... nice try though.
