I had to break my lease and move more than 200 miles away from Addison to take care of my mother who recently fell ill. I didn't have any alternative means of home care for my mother other than me. When I contacted the office they were unsympathetic and gave no alternate recourse to breaking the lease other than paying $2200 for the reletting fee. Not only was I charged the fee, they wanted it within 20 days with no exception. None of the management were concerned with my situation until I filled out a survey that gave them a negative rating. Only then did I receive an email to contact the office to speak to management. Although she was very personal, it was very clear to me that residents are clearly seen as revenue for the company regardless if you decide to call it your home. I will not ever recommend a Post Property to anyone I know.

Entering the garage is dangerous since there is not enough room for pedestrians and 2 way traffic. The spaces are tight and hard to come by. The walls were thin and I could hear people in the halls

Did you even read your contract? Of course there is a reletting fee, along with concession paybacks, etc. Don't sign legal documents if you can't hold up your end of the bargain. Sorry about your circumstances, but would expect your car not to get repossed if you couldn't make a payment on it due to a sad story? But the parking really is the worst - I'll give you that. I would never want to live there again for that reason alone (and the fact that it is party central)!
