$900 a month for an efficiency they call a one-bedroom

Post Addison Circle is one of the most overrated places I've ever lived. During my lease I paid nearly $900 a month for an efficiency they claimed was a one-bedroom because of a useless mezzanine area. Newsflash: it's not a one-bedroom if it's all one open space.
Location is awesome. This is the ONLY reason I would recommend it.
Parking is okay, but I lived in a building adjacent to the parking garage. Most people have to drive up a few floors and walk over to another building. It's a pain.
Apparently, there is a laundry room somewhere in one of the buildings, but I could never find it even after looking several times. I know they have one somewhere. It also doesn't take quarters. You have to sign up for some online thing. I just started using the wash and fold laundromat down the street.
You must give 60 days notice when you decide renew or not. During this 60 days, they will show your apartment to countless strangers. They've brought people by my apartment at least 3-4 times a week.
The appliances, fixtures, and flooring are very low quality. No microwaves built-in.
The exterior is pretty nice, but none of this is pleasing when you're getting bent over for the rent. Most people don't stay here long, the moving truck traffic is unbelievable.

Once again I have to laugh at the people who comment on the condition of their apartment---did you not see look at it before you leased? Did you not KNOW what the appliances, fixtures and flooring were like? Did you not see, in your lease, before you signed it, that you must give 60 days notice and that they can show your apartment? I really like living here, and I can't help but to be on a crusade against people who blame Post for stuff that isn't their fault. And newsflash to you----, the truck traffic would be unbelievable for any place that has a thousand apartments.

To the person "on a crusade" you're either one of the old suck-ups that hangs out at the leasing office all day and would never leave Post because that would cut off their lifeline to any type of social interaction or one of the Post employees that works in the leasing office. Are they paying you to do this?
Post promises quite a bit more during the lease signing process than they deliver. They have promised many of our friends different flooring upon move in, fixture changes, faux walls, etc. yet they did not deliver. They also tell people that they are looking for new restaurants/businesses to move in. In the past two years, the only new editions are the following: An overpriced florist, an overpriced healthspa, and an edition onto their fitness center that they charge Addison Circle residents for to begin with. Give me a break! They promised a new wine bar but never delivered. They kicked out The Dugout and Ruby Lounge yet did not offer the residents a formal explanation (We pay rent here and many moved here for the nightlife that they advertise in their web postings and advertisements...thank you very much!).
Post Addison Circle is a great place to live, however, don't kid yourself that they are perfect angels. They raise rent on you to unfair costs at lease renewal time and won't allow you to negotiate. What's funny though is that they continue to move people in at prices below what others are renewing for in the same apartment. Where's the friggin loyalty? Post does not understand the concept of "a sure thing." Ruby Lounge was closed and nothing has occupied that spot for over a year. That's a YEAR'S worth of rent they missed out on. Why? But don't fret. I have friends that call the corporate office and get them to lower the rent. Want something done? Call the corporate office.

The laundry room is in building 4 - just in case you still can't find it. I found it immediately after moving in. Also, after using quarters for 4 years and adding up how much money you waste that way - buy a washer/dryer - your wallet will thank you! Again, showing apartments once tenets say they are moving out = SOP in most of country.
