OK but not worth it ...

I have lived here almost three years. It's a nice part of town, close to everything and there's a consistently good feel across the property. The apartments are cheapish. Noise (through the walls) is an issue but it's only really bad if you have a-holes for neighbors. It doesn't happen too often but it happens ... that can be the case anywhere but you would think that at these rates and with their "strict" prequal they would weed those out. The management is useless but what do you expect' It's a leasing office, not a renters' office. They're there to sell you on signing up, not to take care of your problems. Think about it. Parking is OK if you're OK with parking on the higher levels of the multi-level lots. During events ... forget about it! Post Addison Circle sells out to the events (and during non-event season to the retail shops) and requires you to park in the levels above the gates. Umm, there is no retail near me yet I can't park on the first floor' Hello'
In summary, it's too expensive for what you get in an actual apartment but the problems are few (and known) and the location is great. I would be hard pressed to go anywhere else. I really want out but where can I go that is clearly better' It would be a gamble and complacency is bliss. Don't let them fool you with their sales pitch ... caveat emptor!
Oh, maintenance and grounds keeping are excellent. Too bad the latter only happens on select days per building (every other day basically) and if there's something wrong (someone made a mess, caused damage, etc), you typically have to wait for a couple of days for it to be corrected.

What an excellent summary, thank you! I want to live here, but like you said "caveat emptor!" so it's just a matter of what I can put up with. I so much like a peaceful environment where I live, along with class and beauty. I know that there are always going to be A-holes in every crowd to ruin it for the good people. Just a fact of life. Thanks so much for your most intelligent and well-put review.

Well, we are ranting our too bedroom appartment across the tallway for $940. You don't get this feel like in Addison Circle. But we offer much better cervices and a lot better finished place. To take a nice walk we did go to Addison Park that was just minutes away.
