Parking deteriorating

When I first moved here, it was easy to park. It has become more and more crowded, despite the fact that there are the same number of apartments. Post has obviously renting parking spaces to non-residents, and it is almost always full. They now allow people who don't live here to park above the parking security gate. End result: you pay too much for an apartment, and you still have a hard time parking ! This is not acceptable, and is an example of corporate greed.

I agree; one small detail though - i believe parking has been sub-contracted to another firm and Post takes no responsibility for the poor state of affairs.

Gee, I wonder how parking will be affected by the new mega-community of apartments built on the north side of PAC. Goodman (street) will now be shared with those guys and you better believe Artist will take a hit too.
I don't think PAC is "renting" spaces per se. They do contract out the parking to Platinum Parking (which includes towing cars away!) and it's all about two things: a) a cop-out for when people have problems (Platinum will tell you to complain to Post and vice versa, trust me, it's happened to me twice) and b) it's a way to hide profits and thus lower your tax bracket (dealerships do that with make-ready departments).

Although I definitely agree with the parking situation being terrible, I think that you might not be specifying who is parking above the gate. They just recently stopped littering our hallways with their "reminders" to not park below the gate unless you are a guest. They police that on a nightly basis. They have been allowing businesses in the complex to park above the gate. The spots below the gates are labeled "Restaurant and Retail Parking - 2 Hours Only." But they expect our guests to park there. I'm still waiting for one of my guests to get towed from their designated spots.

Fascinating - one poster complains because they can't have more than one spot per bedroom, another poster complains people are buying spots. It can't be both ways guys!

The above post seems to me to be the logic of the seller (renting company). Do you work for Post ? Because if you are a renter, you might notice it is darn near impossible to park here anymore. I personally don't care at all about "more than one spot per bedroom", or "buying slots". I rent one apartment and I just want one spot for my car when I return to my overpriced apartment. Is that too much to ask ?
