we just moved from this place about 3 months ago and I was so happy to leave. There were constant water line breaks which no one ever seemed to notice - even though they would leave obvious HUGE indications (such as large pools of water that would cover the bottoms of peoples car tires). All of which we are billed for in water bill "allocation". When we moved in our apartment was FILTHY - grease on the tops of the kitchen cabinets, dirty door frames, dirt stuck in the corners of floors because whoever painted spattered paint over them. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER again would I live there! Also, the on-site laundry facilities were frequently not working.

I have lived in Talisker of Addison for about 8 months and if I were financially able, would have broken the lease long ago. Speaking of my lease, I originally agreed to a 6 month lease and that is what was on my copy that I got, however, on their hard copy it was recorded as an 8 month agreement and in the computer system they entered it as a 10 month lease. After my 6 months were almost up I went to management to put in my 60 day notice to tell them I would NOT be renewing my lease and they informed me that I actually had to stay through June 2009 because that is what their computer says, and if it was recorded wrong it's "NOT THEIR PROBLEM" because I should have made sure everything matched before I signed off on it all. Also, the grounds are ghetto and the tenants are shady, I don't feel safe at all, there is absolutely no security, the 2 laundry facilities are always wet and grimey on the inside and usually only one or two of the washers/dryers work. Any time I call to discuss a problem with the management they can never resolve it then and they take my information and say they'll call me back but surprise surprise! In their complete incompetence, they never call back. I have had problem after problem with this place and it only seems to get worse as each month goes by. In all the apartment complexes I have lived in, I have never had problems or issues or been a complainer and normally if there is an issue I'll try to just look past it but I have had it with this place. It has passed the point of being ridiculous and if there was a way to get the entire complex shut down and bulldozed I am all for it.
