Construction is rather cheap (as another poster has mentioned), however I live on the 3rd floor, so it's not that bad (I could see how being on the second or ground floor would become annoying though).

Insulation could be better, as the electric bill in the summers can get quite high ($125/mo for 1 bedroom--I keep it "cool" but not "ice cold").

Bugs (ants and spiders) are a bit of a problem, but having them spray worked for me.

You CAN get maintenance on the weekends, but ONLY if it's an emergency (your apartment is flooding, etc.).

They will not come out to fix things like your washer/dryer etc.

that are not critical (and for some reason, they always tend to break on a Friday).

As of this posting (June, 2008) I feel the complex is relatively safe.

Parking is not an issue for me, but then it's such a big complex, it probably depends on which building you're in.

Before you move in, check it out at peak times to see if it's acceptable for you.

In my opinion, it could be a little bit more lit.
