I will advise anyone to look somewhere else, before you decide on moving to chaparral. The walls are very thin you can hear your neighbors, it feels like you have no privacy. The master bedroom door and bthrm door were installed wrong because they have a tendency of knocking against the other if one is left open. They only have one dumpster and its always full, so you have nowhere to put trash and if you put the trash in front of the dumpster they will fine you($50) They also have a curfew you can't be out after 9pm and that includes adults. I think they need to fix the problem which starts with outsiders hanging around on the property. They also need to change the carpet in the living room because it is a high traffic area and the carpet gets stains easily. So be prepared to always have to pay to keep the carpet cleaned. They used to offer a referral fee if you refer a tenant to the complex. Don't hold your breath because you will never receive it. The complex is roach infested, theirs only one computer and its always broken and the area is dirty and the so called fitness center, check out the equipment most of it is broken and they refuse to fix it. You have to use the fitness room 9-5 mon-fri. What about the people who work you are so out of luck, you have to pay for fitness membership somewhere else.

me too. I had a neighbor that just moved there and I was looking to move there as well. I'm a single mom of two and the prices seemed very reasonable. Yikes sounds worse than where I am now

dont be hatin it was just a few bad apples that ruined it the community is fine now and if you have high expectations then you need to buy not rent.I have been renting for years and if i was real picky i could say something bad about every apartment complex, chaparral is in a great school district, a low crime rate city, cheaper rent then anywhere in collin county for the sq.ft overall keep to yourself and you'll enjoy these apartments. Complain and have no LIFE then yes you might hate it here as well but then again you wont be happy anywhere.
