THE STAFF WILL SMILE @ YOU & GIVE YOU AN EXCUSE WHY THEY CANT DO SOMETHING. THEY WONT LIFT A FINGER TO REMOVE A TREE & CLIPPINGS THAT HAVE BEEN PILED IN THE MAIN YARD FOR MORE THAN 5 MONTHS. CAN YOU SAY SAFETY RISK. CAN YOU SAY ESTHETICS. "WE CANT AFFORD TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT RIGHT NOW," WAS THE EXCUSE I GOT. MOST RESISDENTS COMPLAIN ABOUT RACOONS IN THE CEILINGS & WALLS. THE POOLS ARE SO DIRTY & NASTY THAT THEY ARE BLACK. THEY RARELY FIX ANYTHING, RATHER THEY JUST JERRY RIG IT WITH DUCK TAPE OR A PAPER CLIP. THERE IS LITTER & TRASH BLOWING AROUND, ONE STAFFER BLAMED THE FOREIGNERS, "BECAUSE THEY DONT KNOW ANY BETTER - ITS PART OF THEIR CULTURE, YA KNOW WHERE THEY CAME FROM." I HEARD ONE STAFFER TELL A RESIDENT WITH A LANGUAGE BARRIER ONE THING & THEN TELL AN ENGLISH SPEAKING RESIDENT WHO HAD THE SAME COMPLAINT ABOUT RACOONS A MINUTE LATER THAT THEY WOULD, "GET RIGHT ON IT." I LEFT AS SOON AS I COULD AFFORD TO LEAVE.

I lived at this apartment for half a year until, because of something completely out of the staff's control, the building I lived in burned down. My finance currently lives in the complex, and both of us have never experienced the problems stated in this review. The pools are crystal clear, and children play in them all the time during the summer. The grounds are beautiful and well kept up. There is even a nice little playground for the children near the pools and laundry area. Also, I have never had a problem with animals in the walls or ceilings. Now, I will say the maintenance does have a tendency to "patch things up" rather than fixing the problem right away, but when it comes down to it, they will fix the problem if their patches do not hold up. My biggest complement to this complex is how they handled the fire. They were helpful and did everything they could to take care of the effected residents. Because of the staff's caring and understanding during that tough time, I would live there again without hesitation. All I can say to this reviewer is be reasonable with the staff and they will treat you reasonably, too.
