My fiancee and I have lived here for almost 3 years and we are ready to move. When we first moved in, things were great, but it was still called Crest Place then and we had the nicest people in the office. They were a part of our family. Now, we are Mission Eagle Point and the place has gone down hill. The people in the office are fake and nothing gets done. I called the office Monday June 25th, 2007 to have them have someone over to fix a bathroom cabinet, and it's still not done, over a week later. This would have never been the case if we still had our "family" in the office. I don't recommend anyone move here. The prices are going up and it's not worth it.

I must say that I completely agree with this review as we have had practically the same situation! And ironically the same move in time.

I have had a nearly identical experience, the new management has taken to renting to rowdy teenage boys that stay up late and throw beer bottles into the creek, often missing and breaking glass all over the sidewalk. Cigarette butts everywhere and not once in 3 years have the stairways been pressure washed. It is looking dirty and run down after only 3 years. It was beautiful and nice in the beginning.

I actually used to work and live there when it was Crest Place and you are right, it was like a family, I knew everybody there and they were all real nice. I hope it gets better for those who still live there. I think the croud at the pool was one of the nicest I have ever experinced, I used to go to the pool after work everyday and bar-b-q, have some drinks and just hang out, I looked foward to it everyday. I moved here last August. The place was nice, clean, quiet. The neighbors were nice. Maintenance issues were taken care of within a couple of hours. I never saw the gates broken. I loved living here.
I lost my job in February and the old management company was very helpful and worked with me on my rent. They allowed me to pay my rent in two installments for a couple of months until I found a job and got back on my feet.
Then, along comes May 2007, the new management company is a joke. I had paid half my rent as I had the previous 2 months, and then all of a sudden I had to pay $150 in late fees. I had an eviction notice & a late fee notice the next month because my check I had sent thru my bank's online billpay service wasn't processed on time. The check was guaranteed by my bank to be there by the 1st... they didn't process it until the 7th. There is no way you can tell me my check was that late.
I am not at all surprised that over 50% of all the apartments in building 1 & 2 have become vacant in the 3 short months under the new manangement. My lease is up & I am moving in 19 days. It can't get here quick enough.
A also noticed that most of the roudy unruly screaming BRATS that run around this complex didn't even live here until the new management started. They must be the managers' kids.

I just finished writing my review on yahoo, but I forgot to mention the wall. That wall has been knocked down for over 2 months and they haven't fixed it. There is a big whole in the side of the wall by the dumpster at 325 and they made new signs instead. The gates have not worked since we moved there. Also, a tenant below us was charged $100 more than her rent and she had to take them to court to win. As soon as she won they told her she had to leave in 3 days! Bad management!
