My last posting for this apt complex was titled "Excellent, Quiet, and Safe" when it used to be Crest Place. I lived there for 2 1/2 yrs and finally moved about 2 months ago. This apt complex really went downhill during that time.
The gates no longer worked when Mission Eagle Pointe took over which allowed teenagers and kids from off property to come to our apt complex and violate quiet hours.
The apartment grounds are now overran with dog feces and 1 of my neighbors with kids told me and property management that if they weren't resolving the dog poop issue in cooler weather then that led her to believe they would not treat the yards for fleas in the warmer weather because there are so many dogs and so much dog poop there. She was constantly telling her kids to stay off the grass because of the poop so that is something people with kids should think about before moving here. Not to mention it's really gross to look at when you're walking anywhere on the grounds.
Property management is ineffective in regards to noise issues even during quiet hours. They are also very difficult to deal with; they are rude and unprofessional in many ways. They retain the riff raff tenants (noisy neighbors that trash up the place) which drives out the good tenants that do care about what's going on there. They were even unprofessional enough to tell one of my neighbors it was I who had complained to them about her surround sound the 2nd day she moved in only because she insisted she wanted to apologize to whomever had complained--that is something Property Management should never do and because of that I was not able to have a healthy relationship with that neighbor who continued to blare her surround sound.
Mission Eagle Pointe really doesn't care about the quality of life here for their tenants or take pride in it the way Crest Place did.
They also do not screen their tenants very well. Myself and 2 neighbors were complaining about 1 family with 2 gargantuan canines that were crapping everywhere and Property Management told 1 of my neighbors they did not know how big the dogs were when the family moved in.
There are many more stories I could tell about how life became screwed up at Mission Eagle Pointe, but I think you get the point: for a good, quiet, clean place to live this is not the place to be.
I would not recommend this apt complex to anyone. And I think it's hilarious there are a few posts on here from people that do not even live at these apts or have yet to move in.
I now live at another apt complex in Allen and even though the walls may be thinner then the apt walls at Mission Eagle Pointe, it is so peaceful and quiet here and the grounds are kept clean. That is because my new Property Management screens tenants thoroughly--my rent is more but it's worth it!!!
