I've love the area, the schools have been great for my daughters. But the number one problem has been the mangement. Never knowing whom might be the Office personal! always changing' If it wasn't for the schools, the area I would have left this appartment complex long ago. In the last several months their has been one person that has stood out! Johnny he's been great. Always has a smile, and a friendly hello. Once again the recognizable office staff will be leaving too. Changing with a new management! what will we get' Johnny has been one of the few plus's at Settlers gate, everyone else has left. Johnny will be missed by this resident.

Don't believe ANY comment on here saying JOHNNY is the best and should be Manager!! It's obvious that it is HIM that is coming on here and posting those "nice" things. Certainly, there is NO ONE that would type that. He is the ONLY ONE that would type that. He is not NICE. That is FAR from the truth. He isn't smart enough to empty a trash can!

Fire all of the management EXSPECIALY JOHNNY he is a moron who has never known what he was talking about. Anyone who knows him or has dealt with him knows that he is an idiot. All of the current management sucks and should be fired on the spot. I have already moved out and I loved every thing about the community except the management & Johnny.

I agree, first of all I have never seen this man smile. Do not beleive any coments about Johnny. My time is coming soon to move out and I am very happy about that. This is the worst place I have ever lived at. Good look to you all who are considering moving into this complex!!!

I agree with the responses. Johnny lead me in the wrong direction and cost me hundreds of dollars. I wish I would have read this months ago.

Johnny only doing his job, the person that one could recognize in an office that was ever changing. He lasted 14 months Wait until you get a eye on the new owner! Their will be more rats, then what there is now. You sound as if maybe you had a problems other then Johnny, he has to do what his employer directed him to do.

I lived in Settlers Gate for 2 years. I wassnever late on any rent payment and I moved out after my 2 years lease was up. That was in May 0f 2007. Its now Aug of 2007 and Im still trying to get an answer on my deposit. No one can ever answer (of course when the manager is never there and a temp always answers the phone, what would one expect) I would never live in these apartments again

Your deposit problem is easily fixed. This is in Texas. Texas has very very strict enforcement of returning of apartment deposits. Simply file a lawsuit at the county courthouse for 3x your original deposit. ( Will cost you $5 to file ) and you will automatically win. They by law have to return your deposit in 30 days or give you a detailed list of what the deposit was spent on when you left or pay triple the amount of deposit in penalty for non compliance. Don't believe me? Call any Texas attorney.
