This apartment has nice features and isn't necessarily a bad place to live, especially for Allen, but there are some things I did not like most of which I have already heard on here. The noise is a big issue, from dogs yelping next door all day long, to hearing phone conversations through the walls, also people are so loud at night. For some reason right when I would want to go to sleep and this was in the middle of the week too, people would go out on their balconies with friend I guess and make all kinds if noise, just like screaming, and one night there was actually a fight outside my building. Kids are constantly running and screaming through the parking lot unattended, and by the way, don't expect to enjoy the pool in the summer, because the screaming children will give you the worst headache. And people walk up the stairs so loud without any regard to others. It's not by any means a very quiet and peaceful place.
Also, there is a cricket and ant problem that was an absolute annoyance. And maintenance always blew off issues like I was making them up.
Parking is awful and they charge too much for personal spots, which are everywhere and take up most of the parking. If you don't get home until 8 don't expect to park close to your building.
Overall, noisy, lots of unattended annoying children, bugs, no parking. But, they are nice. Especially for Allen. I didn't hate living there, not at all, but I did get annoyed a lot by all of these things. Just a heads up. But like i sad, if you are looking to live in Allen and want something nice and very affordable probably the best place to go. Also, remember your kind of out in the country in Allen, it's not a place for city people.

Good point, this tenant is dead on. We should keep all the kids locked inside one Apt and have the pool available for adults only, better yet, I think they should kick all families out with children; they are just a waste of space anyways. You forgot to point out that there is 3 pieces of dead grass on the property which makes it very appalling. I also noticed that one of the planted trees was bending slightly to the north, which makes me puke every time i walk by. The staff must be the Devils children because they always say hi and use my name when they see me. I???m getting nauseous again... OH YEAH, and the free breakfast they handed to me on my way out of the gate at 6:30 AM was just rude, I had to stop and roll down my window,,, FOR THAT!!! Come on! Then they had the nerve to tell me to have a great day. Where did great customer service go..... Time for my pill.

The person that left that comment is obviously one the parents with the unattended loud children and must have taken that personally. Seriously, they do not watch their children, they just roam around screaming and running out in front of cars. I guess they expect the other tenants to watch their children for them. And I am not the only person to mention this issue or the issue of noise, I believe nearly every entry talks about this.

OK, that first response sounds like it is from an angry staff member or manager. I have never received any breakfast at 6:30 on my way out the gate...that I know. I do, however, agree that you need to be realistic. They are children, and there is nothing wrong with them playing in the courtyards, pool etc. There IS however...something wrong with them running out in the parking lot in front of cars and screaming while playing at night...
