I am a homeowner who had to get an apartment during my job transition. The management has been quite helpful in solving the normal problems of apartment life. My major problem is with some tenants. I got sick of smelling pot and seeing high school students going in and out of their drug den, so I called the cops on them. They were all charged except one and were kick out of the apt. The one druggie who failed to get charge made a remark as I left my apt. "There goes the guy who called the narks on us". He was too big a coward to talk with me, but I told his pregnant girlfriend who was sitting on the steps that I had seen students of mine who had been beaten and threatend with weapons by their drug using parents and have seen kids lives ruined by that stuff. I told her, and the coward who was hiding in the apartment that if I smelled pot again, I would call the police again. I'm sure every apt complex has jerks like this in it, but you don't have to put up with their drug pushing.
