This is my first apartment and I have to say that it has been a great investment. I'll admit that it's not the cheapest, but it's clean, safe, and friendly. Mrs. Brenda is the lead manager and she is very personable and takes a strong interest in her clients. There was one time she passed by the laundry room and stopped to talk to me and see how things are going. When I first moved in, the asst mgr would be outside early monday mornings handing out breakfast to clients leaving. This hasn't happened after Ike though. There is valet trash pick up three times a week, which is nice since the dumpster is across the complex from where I am.

I have lived here for 7 months and can honestly say I have never heard my neighbors (and I hope they can't hear my music! :-D) The bedroom I have is designed to be on the outside corner so I do not share any walls with a neighbor (and any noise that may be accompanied with it.)

Parking becomes a problem if you arrive to the complex after 10pm. During the day, I can find a close spot. If you do not mind walking across a parking lot, then you have no problem.

There has been some structural damage on some of the buildings after hurricane Ike. There are tarps up on most roofs and one building even lost a wall. However, I have noticed similiar problems with other complexes. I actually received no damage in my apartment. Within one week after the storm, management had most debris picked up and roofs tarped.

I have only signed a 6 month lease, but stayed longer because I believe this is the best place to be in Alvin for the money. BuLYzGcKAVo8MQPlcXJq
