Many issues with the apartment complex and never helped to fix any of my problems. My bathroom was a nightmare (mold, ceiling falling in, unfinished shower, and the boards where rotted out.) My garbage disposal didn't work and I had a leaky faucet under the sink. I had to redo my own kitchen floor and the baseboards where never put in. The apartment complex in general had many issues, including the gutters were molded and falling off, the washers and dryers were constantly broken, and the area wasn't fenced in so random people would walk through.
The parking is ok...... The noise and drugs were always a problem. I could hear my neighbors from 2 apartments down. About half the complex had drugs in it.. The police were out almost 3-4 times a week at the minimum.
Safety wise i had a vehicle that had all four tires sliced at one point. The vending mechine that was in the laundry room was destroyed by vandilism at one point, till it was removed my coca-cola. A few other vehicles were broken into. I never felt really safe especially for my family.
Construction was always being done by the manager's boyfriend. The construction was not professional. A few others and him would do all the work and it would take forever to have anything finished.
This man actually tried to start a few fights with me on several different occasions. The apartment manager tried to start a fight with my wife and my mom. When I was getting ready to move out they changed the locks on my aprtment so that i could not get back in and claimed that we had been absent for 72 hours even though we had paid rent till the end of the month. Due to this I lost all my furniture and other belongings that we did not have time to move out.
The apartment manager has no previous experience with management of such an important part of our lives. She was a previous tenant whose pay was based off the fact that she gets to live in an apartment for free. She required no background check or confirmation that she was eligible to manage a complex.
I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone. In my opinion the place should be torn down and rebuilt to meet the standard of good living. Black mold in the walls and rotting boards makes life dangerous especially if you have allergies.
The rent was the best thing about the complex, but in the end you get what you pay for.
I don't have the pictures that i took ehile i was living there but i believe they are on my other computer. When it arrives i will post them up on this reviem if possible or another.
