This place totally sucks! We moved in december 15th 2007 and have had nothing problems since. First of all the plumbing is horrible!!!! For the past 8 or 9 months our water has been brown! Im talkin urinal color brown. And it doesnt matter how many calls you make to management about the situation the problem still exists. I have spoken with many of my neighbors and therefore know that we are not the only ones with this problem. I have actually taken pictures of my tub when it was full of water and it looks like coffee!! And for some reason it takes our tub about 45 minutes to an hour to drain!! NO JOKE!! And when it does finally drain there is what looks like sand from the water all over everything!!! my sons bath toys had "sand" all over them after a bath! My neighbors have also had problems with their brown water and their tubs peeling from the walls and leaking. which reminds me, my tub was leaking as soon as we moved in! we had to have maintenaince come fix it! Water is always shut off at odd, random times without any notice! Maintanance are nice and helpful but you can never understand a word they say! Secondly, our electricity bill has run us anywhere from 200 to 250. and we have a 2 bedroom 900sf apartment. our neighbor's electric bill has been running him 400!!!! NO JOKE! Here recently we discovered our problem with OUR electric bill. When we went to replace the filter(since we thought that could have been the problem) we found a gigantic hole in our ceiling and a bushes baked beans can holding up the sheetrock along with two vents propping up the fallen sheetrock! WE HAVE BEEN COOLING OFF THE ATTIC FOR 9 MONTHS NOW! Someone got lazy before we moved in and didnt want to fix the problem so they ------ rigged it with a bushes baked beans can and two vents! Last but not least, the police are always here!!! At least 4 or 5 times a day. Lots of domestic violence going on here. Couples are always outside fighting all hours and calling the cops on one another. Lots of druggies and alkies!!! LOTS!!! tons of parties. and not just on weekends or one night a week. i mean every night!!! parties with about 20 people outside one apartment until like 4am drinking, laughing, yelling, fighting, and just being juvenilish. Vehicles are getting broken into every other night or so. tires are getting slashed and cars are getting keyed. me and my fiance's car were both keyed! and i dont mean like a straight line....someone drew a star all across the hood of my car. two others i know have had their tires slashed. and the guy downstairs has had is broken into twice and his wife had her tailgate stolen right off her pickup!! Roaches are bad bad bad bad bad bad!!!!!!! management is real lienient on the rent. if you miss a month they dont care they just tell you to pay it next month. i am not writing all this because management and i have gotten into an altercation so dont think that! ive never really spoken to management other than when we moved in. This is all true stuff!!!and its not just me i know many others living here with the same and issues and then some! Not a Place for children!!! im the one who posted this and id like to catch you all up on the latest. We had a guy try and break into our apartment the night before last. i went outside to get something out of my car and my fiance and 1yr old son were upstairs asleep. (it was about 1 am) as i was walking down the stairs i noticed a strange unfamiliar guy sitting on te bottom step. He didnt say anything to me he just sat and stared at me as i was walking to my car... and as i made my way past him to get back up the stairs into my apartment. well.... about a minute or so after i got into the apartment i started hearing the door knob on our door jiggling. i quickly ran into our bedroom and woke up my fiance and told him someone was trying to break into the apartment. (This guy also looked drunk out of his mind) well, my finace quicly gotup and went tothe door, opened it and said "who are you'" "what do you want". the guy just stood there. wich is good causei guesshe could have just walked inour apartment then. i told my fiance to shut the door and that we would call the police. he quickly grabbed the phone and called 911. while he was on the phone with 911 i grabbed our son and went into the back bedroom. soon after we started hearing him banging on our door and our windows and continuing to turn our door knob. you could hear him throwing himself into our door trying to break through. Soon the police showed up and took him to jail. They even had to wrestle the man just to put him in cuffs. It was the scariest moment of my life. I was crying, shaking and holding onto my son for dear life hoping he would just leave the entire time. since then we have seen the very same guy handing out a few apartments down from us. Think about it!!!!
