bad management BAD MARY

The management told me after i had paid rent that they were no longer accepting checks and they charged me with late charges everyday until I would get them a money order. I have lived here for 3 yrs. and never had any problems until they switch managment now it is terrible. Iam currently looking for a new place. They never answer the phone and trying to get anything fixed around here is useless. They made me go 3 days without ac between getting ahold of them and finally fixing it.
I also found out that my 675 rent had been reduced to 640 and she refused to tell me how long!!!!! How many months did I pay the extra 35 dollars and she doesnt even want to tell me or give me a credit. terrible why did they hire mary'

First of all, we have never changed management companies, we have jsut had staff changes. I cannot fix something that previous managers did or not do. It has always been company policy that we never accept cash, and that after the 3rd, we cannot accept personal checks, only money order, or cashier check. According to the standard lease, any rent that is not paid in full by the 3rd of the month will accrue late fees. As far as the "never answering the Phones" I am sorry, however we get such a high volume of phone calls, and traffic, that we sometimes cannot get to the next caller as quickly as you would like, however we have a roll over system that will let you leave a message. We strive to respond to emergency maintenance calls immediately, and have a very good maintenance team. We cannot fix something that we have not had a call or message left on. As far as the rent amount, I will be glad to go over the rent ledger on yor unit and break it down for you month to month if necessary. please give us the chance to set your mind at ease.
