I am here to say that I have been a resident for a while. I am happy with my home, but I am not happy with all of the drama that goes on here. It is ridiculous! Mary, I know you read this so I will tell you that No, I am not comfortable with your son having access to my house key. In spite of what you may say how they are locked and only you have the key to the locked key box, what do you do with this key when you sleep' Sleep with it' He does jobs around here so he might be able to sneak this key from you when you are not paying attention or even sleeping, which freaks me out more. He has a BADDD temper. I have seen it first hand him punching things out of anger, and you two screaming at each other like this is some trashy trailer park... this is not normal. I know that your son told my best friends boyfriend (a good source he is now a police officer for Alvin) that he has something on his record that I will not put out online, but let me just say he would NOT have passed a background check that would allow him to reside here especially with access to our keys! It's bad enough him living here but when I saw him WORKING here I was astonished! Just to let everyone know I have contacted the corporate office about this matter and was not called back after leaving 4 messages with the so called supervisor. So Mary if you would like to inform me with a correct number please feel free to do so. I am not revealing my identity because I am not trying to get evicted like you threatened us through a newsletter. I am just asking for some reassurance that that man will NEVER be able to get into my apartment!

I feel the exact same way. Thay aleays have excuses to why the gate s have nmot been fixed I was also told that the fitness center would become available soon, year and half later it has never been avialabe. I wish they would step up the game and focus more on the property assets rather then lashing out on the residents. I would however like to say that the landscaping is always kept very nicley I do appreciate that. Over all you get what you pay for.

In response to your comment about never being able to get anything fixed here at Stonegate, my records are available for your viewing upon your request and you will see that our orders are completed in a timely manner. Orders are issued once a maintenance issue has been requested. We have 3 days from the date of the complaint to have the problem resolved unless it is an emergency, a/c-heater problem, hot water problem, leak, etc. Yes there is a large load of work. I do appreciate the fact that you recognize this. I will not even dignify your comment of stress being passed down to the residents with a response. However, I will respond to your comment that you CAN'T speak with my supervisor. Please call the office and I will (per my instructions) take your name and number and have my supervisor contact you. The pool opens the day that school lets out and closes the day that the children go back to school which we kept it open until after Labor Day this year which was 3-1/2 months. Yes our pool was vandalized this year not once but 3 times and we did close it for approximately 2 weeks at 5:00 pm for other reasons other than what you have stated. I will state that there have been problems with the gates, some of which was my fault. Some of the delay was getting the info back from the resident so that the gates could be programmed. I am happy to say that the gates will be fully operational Feb. 15th of which notification will be made in my monthly newsletter this week. I encourage you to stop by the office to review my credentials as I feel, as well as my supervisor and the owners that I am qualified to oversee this property. I was awarded "Manager of the Year" for 2006 and out of 160 units we are currently at 92% and will have all but 5 units leased at the end of February. Our rental rates are very reasonable and I would ask that you call around to see what the rates are at other properties. Again, please stop by the office at your convenience and I will be happy to address any issue that you may have with the property as I would like for you to be a happy resident and not one that feels that he is paying for something that he is not getting.

The only reason the landscaping is always nice, is because the owners brother does the landscaping!!!The owner makes sure his brother gets paid, but forgets about all of the other vendors. Mary as far as you getting manager of the year, that is a JOKE. There is nothing but complaints about you.

do you guys really have all these problems... I was in there a couple of weekends ago looking for an apartment but I like a dramaless life... I would love to hear more before making a decision on if I should move there or not.. What is the issue about a criminal having access to the apartment keys... could someone explain that to me? Any responses are greatly appreciated. I am on a time crunch to find a place but I would rather pay more than to have the issues you all claim to have... thanks any comments are welcomed

To the person who posted on 9/9/07 I would recommend Morgan Oaks ANY day over this place. In less than 2 months that my mother has been here Mary has harrassed my mother by coming to her apt 6 times. The office was recently closed for a week and if you have problems on the weekend you are screwed until Monday morning. Like I said before this place is not a place to have kids. Mary's son creeps me out and I am a grown woman, he says things that are not appropriate and he is annoying with that STUPID little car. I hope that you find some other place other than here because I do not recommend this place to any one.

Wanda Ritchie is Mary's supervisor at ext. 25, but I haven't ever seen any posting that says she actually returns a phone call. I highly recommend calling the police about Mary's son if you are concerned about his record and if you ever confirm he has entered your apartment without authorization.

I think everybody should post what they think about Mary on here. Because Jim Washburn reads this. And thats why Mary has been walking on thin ice. She knows that he reads the postings. So please spread the word and let it be known that everybody needs to add something. And this place is really going to go to hell, because the word around here is, that she is about to hire this lady that lives here to work in the office. And this lady has 3 children and they are so freaking hateful, they stand out side calling kids names and the curse words they use is unreal. They always call the white kids crackers, but if you say something to them about there color, they go get there mother. And there mother looks like she is on crack or something. If they give her the job, boy is this complex in big big trouble. We are looking into moving to Morgan Oaks. And when we get the hell out of here, we will write a letter and post it in the news paper
