WHEN I ASKED ABOUT THE CARPET SHE SAID THEY DON'T REPLACE THEM. SHE ALSO TOLD ME THAT JUST BECAUSE THERE IS A KOOL-AID OR BLEACH STAIN IN THEM THERE'S STILL WEAR IN THE CARPET AND SHE RECOMENDS THROW RUGS. WHAT THE HELL IS THE DEPOSIT FOR'''' I DON'T WANT ANYONE'S OLD STAINED CARPET AND I'M NOT GONNA USE THROW RUGS.

Carpet that is still wearable with few stains is not replaced in any apartment community. Kool-aid(especially red kool-aid) is one stain that cannot be removed from the carpet once it has set in. Carpet is very expensive and cannot be replaced because there are a few stains. A throw rug was a suggestion for you should you have a stain on the carpet. If you choose not to use throw rugs that is your decision. As much as I would love to replace carpet every time that someone moves out I am not able to. I did not replace my carpet when I moved here. We would all love to have new carpet when we move in. Carpet can only be replaced when and where needed. Your deposit is to cover damages that you may cause to the apartment and deposits are returned once the disposition is done after move out provided that you have left the apartment in the same condition that you moved in. We do allow for normal wear. Carpet is very expensive and $200 -$300 does not cover this. When you moved in a walk thru was done with you and the assistant manager. You should mark all things that are wrong with the apartment at the time of move in including any stains that are on the carpet as you are held accountable at the time of move out. I am very sorry that your carpet was not replaced before moving in. If you did not wish to move in you had not obligation before signing a lease and we would had given your deposit back as we are one of the few apartment communities that give deposits back once you request an apartment. I have no problem with anyone wishing to look at their apartment before signing a lease. I would appreciate though that you not call me foul names or at least call me these names to my face and not hide behind a user name.
