I was happy here for about the 1st year I was here, but have since changed my opinion of this place. I dread coming home every night knowing that I have to return to the HELLHOLE that Mary has made of this place. I love almost everything around here, EXCEPT Mary. MARY is the 1ST and ONLY reason that I would rather die than to continue to live here in this CRAPHEAP, which, by the way, is a crapheap strictly because of MARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"the Ghetto" wow! i have lived here for four years and have many friends and family in alvin. and i have never heard someone acknowledge stonegate as the Ghetto. everyone who visits my home or comes to the complex always tells me how nice my home is. regardless of management, this place is far from being the Ghetto!

well i can tell u mary has deep issues not only is she bi-polar but her son is too. Mary has some really deep issues to deal with, they way she calls the police constantly to report petty things is ridiculous. reason i say that i because i have relatives at the police department in alvin who know her by first name, and her son. everyone knows she is crazy and MENTALLY UNSTABLE!! No one in that state of mind should be able to manage a business. waiting 45 seconds for the gate to close and open back up just so u can put ur access card up to the gate opener is an understandable rule but if it is broken it is crazy. Mary is putting herself in a bad position running after cars like she is crazy because they enter after other cars. If there were 10 cars in line and each one waited till the gates closed just to open them again...how long would that take? RIDICULOUS! Take a chill pill. No there isnt trash living at stonegate... i have seen ---- heads walk around the property but that is everywhere at any complex. I strongly believe management should do something about the manager Mary. She is very childish...very. She is vindictive towards other renters and if they happen to be on the low income housing she throws that in their face... very ugly and unprofessional. I havent had any run in's with her but i have seen it many times it seems like everytime i go into the office she is litterally screaming...seriously... at someone. And i saw one of her responses where she has said Stonegate is one of the safest places in Alvin to live.. YEAH RIGHT! Ask ANYONE of importance or city official in alvin, i have always heard...why do u live there...its the GHETTO!... I agree its been cleaned up alot, but the management has taken over the label as "The Ghetto" to the apartments with the crazy lady manager...something needs to be done

Wait just a minute! I do not break the rules, you have no idea who you are messaging about. I do not even let my child play on the playround with the trash that lives here. I have seen her chasing visitors for entering the gates improperly. Do you not realize how unprofesional that is. I have also witnessed her fighting with the police and her son outside while he was being arrested out of her apartment. Being as he still resides on property, doesn't it concern you what he was arrested for? Wise up!

I mind my own business around here, as you should yours. Not everybody who lives here is trash. Most everybody here are decent people, including me. Mary has to chase down people because they should know the rules. If they are visiting someone who lives here, then the people they are visiting have a responsibility to inform their guests of the rules. As for her son and HER own business, that is her business. I don't stick my nose into it. Apparently, you do. If you don't like Mary or the way she runs this complex, then MOVE!!!! We could use less people like you around here.

I would like to thank those that have stood up for our property. We are a long way from being Ghetto. I do know that the property had serious problems before I came here. I have the best maintenance man the industry has to offer and the best assisant manger there is. I am very proud of them and I couldn't do it without them. I was hired to enforce the rules that are handed down to me by my management team and the housing authority and I will enforce these rules. I am sorry that the gates have caused an inconvenience for many of you but after using your card or the keypad the gate is only open for 10 seconds. A lady came in on the wrong (outgoing) side once. She was a guest here and she could not understand that she should not do this. First of all if the gate had of hit her new car who do you think she would blame? If someone had of come around the corner as she was entering they could had hit each other. We have many here that like to drive fast and they come around the corner not thinking about another car on their side and nor do they think about a child running out in the parking lot to recover a ball or a special toy. When I told the lady that this was not the proper way to enter she tells me "What difference does it make?" The answer is if you can not call the resident to let you in or if you do not have a gate card then you have no business in here. That is what security gates are for. Again, I am only enforcing the rules here. For those that like to say untrue things about my son to get to me I want right now to let you know that you are not bothering me. IF you continue I will go to the police and file on you and you will be held accountable. Believe me I know law enforcement rules. I have studied this. I will however, clear the allegations made about my son being taken out of my apartment and me hollering and screaming at the police. I have never done this. My son had been out drinking with his friends one night. When he arrived home he would not go to bed. I was very patient with him as I tried unsuccessfully for 3 hours to get him to go to bed. He was not outside making a scene, he was in the apartment. He had the opportunity to go to bed or he could spend the night at APD. I called the police to come get him. He follows all rules here just as you should. He has never done anything to anyone here but be kind. He is a very good young man and would do anything to help anyone. I do not call the police here but only for serious things. The police have been very kind to me and helped me in situations whereas it is necessary for a police officer to assist. Since I have been here (12/12/05) I have only called the police 4 times. I am not going to allow anyone to run over me and hit me with their car nor am I going to allow disruption on this property. And because I say this is the safest property in Alvin, I belive that the respondent that says this is untrue may need to call APD because this is who told me that it is the safest property in Alvin and they receive calls here but very few. My response about how i treat the low income residents, I have never and will never throw their financial status in their face. I grew up very poor and because of the grace of God my husband has a very good job and we are very fortunate. Because you are low income could mean many things; young and just starting out, maybe you are retired worked all of your life and should have a nice place to live. I respect people for who they are not what they have or how much they have. Again, thank you to those that have stood up for our property.

Call the police and ask for public record of how many calls the manager has made, ask anyone who answers their opinion of Stonegate. It is no higher than any other complex in this city. Fairway Square to say the least is one of the safest...along with a new complex they are now building.Mary is LIEING! she has done several things to residents that have been witnessed and she denies them... this is part of her illness you see... Anyone who wants to live there...go ahead...find out for yourself, you will see

My family and I have lived here for 4 months now and have yet to encounter a problem with management. Mainly because we follow the rules that we agreed upon in the lease and mind only the business that happens in our apartment. The gate lines are sometimes long and it seems more of an inconvenience to have to scan each individual gate card, but it allows for a safer community. The same people complaining about the simple use of a gate card and allow others into the gate will be the first ones to complain when buildings are vandalized or apartments are broken into. The gates aren't 100% but nothing is. Every rule is in place for your own benefit; from gates, pool, curfew and apartment cleanliness. Each and everyone of you should have read the lease and rules regarding the property and at some point you have to had agreed or you would not have signed.

Mary, If the rules are so important to you. . . Why was your son allowed to live there with his criminal history of violence?
