Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007
When I was filling out my application, everyone seemed to be really nice and professional. Needless to say it did not last long. I moved in and had problems from the start. The apartment was dirty, roach infested, and not maintained. When i brought this to their attention they told me numerous amounts of times that it would be taken care of until i finally had to do it myself. That was only the begining. I later found out that some wires were crossed in the kitchen and the only way to use the electricity in the bedroom and living room was to turn on the stove. No lights, air conditioning, tv, etc... I told them that it was unsafe and i could not continue to live like this. It took them nearly 2 weeks to fix the problem. I talked to the apartment manager about breaking my lease because I was having continous problems. I was told that if I did decide to break the lease they would turn me into a collection agencie and post it on my credit. By this time I only had about 3 more months so I decided for the sake of my credit I could just dish it out and suffer. The straw that broke the camels back was when my ceiling started to leak. I immidietly called the manager and they sent someone out to look at it 2 days later. I was told that it was leaking because the people upstairs were not drying off before they got out of the shower. After the ceiling nearly caved in ontop of me, I packed my things and left. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!
