I don't know anything about Concord, but Patterson is fantastic. I am a hard-working college student and I totally appreciate the ease of living here. The maintenance crew always seems to be working really hard, and everyone on staff is really easy to talk to. They ask that you keep the noise down because it's an older crowd living here, but i've had a few social gatherings (when I'm actually here) and there hasn't been a problem. The apartments are huge and the campus is nice. Some of the apartments around me look rough, but it's generally a very nice part of town and close to lots of good eating and really close to I-40, and relatively close to I-27, which is like the southern edge of town anyway.

Nutshell: highly recommend it for the price and staff.
