I stumbled across this website while trying to find a new apartment in houston because my job has been relocated, it is actually very helpful!!!!!!! Here is the story of my experience at Angleton Manor................ My husband rented a two bed two bath unit at this complex in summer 2006 at the time we were dating and got engaged so i moved in with him but did not tell the office to add me to the lease. I had a Ford Ranger that I brought with me and parked it close to our unit. My husband had two trucks so i drove one and he drove the other (my ac was out). About a week after i moved in, Mary the so called "manager" knocked on the door and asked my husband if someone else had moved in with him he said no (we didnt want to add me to the lease because there was some kind of stupid fee)she said people had seen me move all my stuff in. She told him I needed to leave the property and that I was not allowed back (keep in mind that i have done nothing to this women and hadnt even met her at this point) so he told her to add me because we were getting married and i wasnt going anywhere. Mary was very rude to me when i tried to pay rent she would not accept my checks for rent she said she could only take my husbands but the next month we were short on money so my father in law wrote a check to the complex for our rent and she accepted it with no problem. We loved living there except for the 1st of the month when rent was due.Other than Mary being Evil the complex is great if you have the patience to put up with the manager cursing at you. Mary has not been on this property for over a year. Even though that seems out of character for any property manager, especially Mary. There should be no reason to post a comment from a situation that happened two years ago when there is new management on the property.

Okay, so there is new managment now. How about an updated comment from 04/09. The new "MANAGER" Kendall is about as rude as a person can get. One thing that this girl seems to not be aware of is that the renters are her customers and should be treated as such. I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone specifically because of the manager and her ridiculous, superior attitude. The apartments seem nice and affordable but really...... how much is one willing to pay to be treated like shite in their own "home". Oh, I forgot about their "award winning staff" (I quote from their pamphlet)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will pay more in rent to not have to deal with the manager there.
