As a previous employee and resident of Southampton I can tell you from experience that you DO NOT want to live at any Royale Management owned property! The owner of this company (Charles Pinter from New York) does not care about his residents or his employees. I know of plenty of serious and even dangerous situations his properties have been involved in and getting him to spend the money to correctly fix the problem is next to impossible. I highly recommend looking elsewhere to rent!

I am also a former employee of Royale Property Management. Charles Pinter is nothing more than a slumlord with a Blackberry. His residents are the least of his concerns, closely followed by his employees. He is not willing to put out the money needed to get his properties up to code, and he is losing them. I check his website weekly, and it is full of lies. There are three complexes that he states are at 100% occupancy, and I have been to these properties. One was never damaged by the storm. The other two are horrendous. The City Inspectors for both places won't issue a certificate of occupancy because Mr. Pinter will not have the electrical wiring brought up to code. He will not address repairs to the apartments, individually or as a whole.

I am a public servant in Angleton and have lived at Southampton, much to my chagrin, since October 2006. I have gotten the City involved as much as they can. The property has been sold, but to whom, no one is saying. There is a new manager, but I really don't think she'll last. I have gone two weeks now with no hot water and four of those days, I had no water at all! All the residents want are the basic neccessities. I realize some residents want a place to do their drugs without being disturbed. This is unacceptable. I have to live here because right now there is nowhere else to go. I have a son who is a severe asthmatic. He had an attack over the weekend that was scariest I have ever seen. I know it is because of the mildew and mold. But what do I do? Where can I go? Who is going to pay for me to move? I HATE SOUTHAMPTON!!!!
