I've been living here since May 2007 and below is my impression of Addison Park Apartments:

PROS:
Rent is very cheap. Rooms are bigger than most apartments I looked at in Arlington. The grounds are kept clean and mowed regularly. The maintenance men are very hard workers, constantly cleaning up people's junk.

CONS:
When I toured the facility I asked for a 2nd floor, but once I got ready to move in I find out I'm on the 3rd floor (with 3 kids/tons of furniture and pregnant!) When I said I never wanted a 3rd floor, they said nothing else was available. The staff is very rude and very arrogant. I go out of my way to be nice and "make" them be nice to me...like asking "How is your day today'" They acted like they work in a high rise in NYC!!

The trash is unbelievable on Sundays and Mondays...partly due to only 1 trash dumpster and partly due to lazy people just throwing their trash at the door rather than inside the door.

The walls are very thin, I can hear the people yelling and fighting next door to me all the time. When I did call security, he said to call 911. I didn't want to get involved, but after it happened again I did call and of course the neighbors knew it was me...and confronted me!

There have been ants in the bathroom and kitchen. Someone did come by and put out patches everywhere, but I still see ants.

What really stinks is the gym is closed at 6 and the pool closed after Labor Day, it's still so very hot in Texas well into Sept/Oct and the kids would love to still swim after school...hate that!

Overall, my experience has been what I expect...APARTMENT LIVING!! I just stay in my apartment and stick to myself, because most people here are rude.

It currently works for me at this present time, but don't expect to renew my lease.
