Number 1: I would never recomend this place to somebody for the price.
If you do end up living in this place i would not recomend upstairs. The electricity bill here is horrible.

Number 2: Good luck finding a parking spot after you pay 200 over the price of a normal unit, then you have to pay 30 per person for a gate opener, then you have to pay money for reserved spots. If you come home after 9pm you can kiss parking by your unit good bye and most of the time you will either A: have to park on the other side of the complex or B: park in the fire lane and risk waking up to your car not being there or C: park outside of the gate of an unsecured place and risk getting your car broken into. Parking here is literally a nightmare, might as well call a cab to go everywhere.

Number 3: My car has been broken into once. They have this period of time where they ask you to leave your door unlocked so they can survey the place/pet control. Why would you in your right mind send out a flyer to everyone asking them to leave their doors unlocked' Safe thinking huh'

Number 4: I hope you dont plan on going swimming, because the pool looks like a bayou.

Number 5: Alot of people here think the staff is about as dumb as a bowl of bricks, they are nice though, but dumb.

other than that the water bill is automatically processed, its faily quiet except for the occaisional disputes, it looks nice on the outside and faily decent on the inside but not for the price. My doors dont shut properly, not that big of a deal.
Overall i wouldnt recomend anyone stay here, there is way better for a better price. You will want to buy out of your lease within 3 months.

They are referring to Oaks at Arlington....not Arlington Oaks. Arlington Oaks has NO gate....and the swimming pool is open year round and is sparkling. I just got an apartment at this place 11/1/08.

well I do not live her nor havi I ever. BUT no matter where you live cars get broken into. And you cant expect the property to pay for a gate opener that most people loose. If you pay for something you are less likely to loose it. I work at a community in Dallas and am just surfing. This place does not seem so bad since the apartments stat at only $500!!!! That is so freaking CHEAP. So stop complaining this is over $200 less than the apartment I work at!
