I lived in the condo for only 9 months and had several problems. First of all, I had to put down a $300 deposit. While I lived there the A/C went out twice and the dishwasher was so loud that you couldnt stay in the condo while it was running. The washer/dryer unit rocked back and forth and hit the wall every time you dried clothes and the floor was peeling back in the bathroom from excessive water damage. When I moved out the owner told me that he wasnt giving me the $300 deposit back because he had to pay for getting the A/C fixed while I lived there. I learned a lot living there. The woman upstairs must have been 400 lbs. and from what I could tell she ran on a treadmill every night. The noise level was insane! Between her and the 100 decibel rap music next door, I could barely sleep at nights. A few doors down lived an ex-con, one neighbor claimed to have had her gasoline siphoned out of her tank, and two sunburnt quasi-prostitutes amped up on amphetamines approached me in the parking lot one day seeking a ride. But, I have to say that most of the neighbors were nice because none of them seemed to have a job. I'm not sure how they all survived, but they were always home. I hope you dont make the same mistake I did by moving into Arlington Oaks Condominiums.
