A New Experience!!

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006

I was interested in their condominiums a year before I actually moved in. If your credit is not so hot but you are willing to pay your bills then the condominiums can be rewarding. I was told they did a background check on potential tenants. It just looked so beautiful! It is true that âthe grass isnât always green on the other sideâ as a matter of fact there is no grass at all. When I first moved here I was very pleased. Didnât seem to have any problems at all. But the year 2006 came with a lot of changes. I guess it is obvious that some people actually enjoy living here, judging by the ratings. I can totally agree with the rating titled : This apartment has a very cosmetic appeal. It started with noisy neighbors. Literally seemed like a 4 football teams were having practice above my unit every day. So youâre thinkingâthatâs not the managements fault, right' Well I made several complaints and nothing has been done. As a matter of fact, Iâm not even sure if my neighbors were contacted about the issue at all.

Again, some people may enjoy living hereâthe same place that I now dread living. This is why: There are certain parts of the complex that you can live. The side you live on (east or west; front or back) determines your enjoyment. I happen to live in the back. There is no grass and strangers continue to visit the area frequently. There was also a complaint by me for this problem. The strangers turned out to be actual tenants roaming throughout the complex. The maintenance workers seemed to appear without notice to your complex and around your complex with assignments that were not sent by warning. Meaning, you donât receive a notice and then all of a sudden rather you work days or late nights your privacy is interrupted with loud drills and lawn maintenance tools. The workout âgymâ should literally be labeled as extremely hazardous. I invited a friend to workout with me for the first time in the complex and as soon as we walked in the door there was a horrible odor coming from inside. The tour consisted of maybe 6 workout machinery and only 2 worked. The sauna was wreaked and had stains all around and in it. I wouldnât even allow my pet to even urine in that area. Thatâs just how bad it was. Needless to say, I was very embarrassed. Other than that, if you live in the back, expect to not have any service on your mobile phone. I have noticed the number of people that stand outside to talk on the phone which can also be a disturbance if youâre not outside making a call yourself. The electricity is constantly going out on this particular side of the complex and there is huge electrical box that is not too far from some of the other tenants. The explanation of electricity going out so frequently is because âsupposedlyâ lightning is always hitting the box. Makes you wonder just how safe it is to live near this magnetic lightning target.

The strangest thing of all is noticing that these problems donât really exist in the front area of the complex. They have grass and minor if any issues with electrical outages. You cant help but look at some of those units and know this is the way an apartment is suppose to look but wonder where the hell did you move to. New tenants have moved into the complex this year and they really make the complex seem like hmmâhow do you say, â very ghettoâ. Loud music early mornings and through the day coming from their vehicles, children being unattended running and screaming up and down the streets, and strangers using the parking area a walking trail to other locations. The parking is also not convenient. You literally have to walk âway up, and no where near your unit to parkâ And this IS the ASSIGNED PARKING given to most tenants. With the rising rate of crime in the area, it makes you a bit afraid to leave and return home at night. So this is definitely a new experience. One that I would not recommend to anyone. I checking the ratings that some people submitted, and it seems that the situations here can get worse at any time. So the moral of this extensive complaint/rating is: If there is no credit check and it seems like a very good deal, chances are that some people that donât deserve those chances are given the same opportunity to be your neighbor. Guess it sucks to not have good credit!!
