Not the best, but better than a lot of them

I've been here for 2 years and I haven't really had that many issues. There are the same problems that you would run into at most apartments, the random loud party or yelling match in the hallway, but it's not a constant problem. I could do without the traffic noise. Maintenance is fast and the office staff is pretty good. They aren't real good about doing major repairs so there seem to be a lot of patch jobs, but again, you see that in a lot of apartments- especially in south Arlington.
The gates are closed most of the time, which is an uncommon thing in this area. I have heard of a few break-ins, but most of those were due to people leaving things like cell phones or ipods in plain site in their cars (asking for it). The office staff is always quick to inform everyone in the complex about these things as soon as they get wind of them.
My only other complaint would be the insane amount of inspections that seem to be done here. It seems like there's one every couple of months. Fire sprinklers, city code inspections and whatnot. Though they do warn you a couple days in advance, this is still very inconvenient as I do not like having people wander unsupervised through my apartment when I'm not there, so I have to take off work.
Overall, it's not a bad place- pretty normal for apartment living.

Renters insurance better be on Ascension Point renters minds and not the noise from screaming matches. There are MANY water issues and several people have lost everything and you will find out about the office & owners when you have an issue with a water problem. They will say Oh Well hope you have renters insurance. An owner onsite sells renters insurance how can you give a 3 on grounds have you not seen the dead bushes everywhere? dead ground cover? lights laying on their sides? palm trees IN POTS? w/dead branches they should be in the ground? HELLO!!!! dead bushes along the drive in the gate? open your eyes!!! complex is run by an investment company via an HOA non-profit via profit! FAIR HOUSING LAWS: some big dogs stay while others have to move, some residents get special privilidges 2 covered parking spots others only one, some pay deposits for renting clubroom some pay nothing depends upon who you are and who you know in the office, some get to smoke at the pool some get their hands slapped place is a joke!!!
