Bella Vista will allow SEWERAGE to fall from your ceiling

We have complained about our ceiling leaking sewage for 2 months and the maintenance would come in and say that they had fixed it and that night it would leak again. Maintenance cut a huge hole out of our ceiling that they said would be repaired later in the week. 2 WEEKS later someone came out to repair our ceiling, and that night our ceiling started leaking again in the same spot BUT worse than before. Then maintenance came out and put 2 more holes in our ceiling in an unrelated room to the situation at hand. On top of that when maintenance came to take out the ceiling instead of moving the bed they used it as a ladder to reach the hole they were cutting. During one of the weeks our ceiling was leaking our neighbor flooded our apartment in 3 inches of water. After these problems are FINALLY resolved we start to have a bug problem from having open holes exposed for 2 weeks. We call to have pest control come out and when they finally get out here to fix the problem, the front office has mysteriously misplaced our key, therefore the pest control will not be out until next week. When I called to ask the front office what happened they said that maintenance had the key to our apartment from being there earlier in the week, which isn't true cause they were here the previous week, therefore our apartment key has been out over the weekend for whoever wants to come into our apartment can. When I talked to management about it she said that the key was PROBABLY there but they can't say for sure because conveniently their key tracker wasn't working during this time. When I asked them if they will send the pest control out to our apartment like they had promised, she said that they would have to charge us a fee for the pest people to come out without an appointment. PROMISE... if they ever say this word to you don't believe it because we have had to rail bars that have been missing since the day that we moved in and they promise that they will fix it since the day that we have moved in, and to this day it hasn't been fixed. They said that they promise that it will be done this week, and then it doesn't get done. Management NEVER communicates with each other so no one will know about your situation, and trust me the person who does is NEVER in the office. I have to honestly say that Bella Vista is the worst living situation I have ever been in. When I called the Lynd Company to inform them of the poor service they don't return your phone call. With all this being said don't live here no matter how cheap the rent is because they will disrespect you and talk down to you, and you will realize that not one person that works in the front office lives here, and that should say something. Devon is the rudest person in the front office and she will get an attitude with you and then try to play it off like it is you who is yelling but you are more calm than an ocean without waves.

RE::::::::Bella Vista is NOT the best......
Years at this apartment: 2009 - 2009
Please believe every bite of this.. that this apartemnt is the worst ever.. Dont move here I have lived here since 2007- 2009 it was all good at first but when the management changed it became the most torrible thing ever. Since the the year started which was 2009 the office staff is rude and Yes Devon is the Main 1.... Mandy is okay at times you can never tell when her bad and good days are. maintenance is very very slow and they come in fix things and break things also. The office manager has changed aleast 3-4 times this year keep in mind this is still 2009..lol Anyways dont believe what they tell over the phone make sure you get that in writing always I dont care if it is the smallest things always get them to write it out cause they will go back on there word. then they say well that person no longer works here so I dont know what your talking about staff changes every week i believe. Everytime i go in there is someone new that dont know what they are doing.O and the water bill is High very High my water started out being $20-$35. then one day it was $60 and has been $60 for the last 7 months of this years. No leakings in my apartment but some in the others but I have to pay for it. The Office sayd there is nothing they can do about. So this apartment complex is a load of CRAP....
This posting is so true........ Please dont move here

I TOTALLY agree with everything both people wrote. They are the worst management team I have ever seen. Being in property management myself, I know when they are trying to BS me and that seems to be their only form of communication with the residents. We moved in Jan 2009 and are still waiting for repairs to be done from our move-in inventory. My bathroom sick is peeled and nasty and so is the tub. Repeated complaints... nothing ever done. Yesterday raw sewage started backing up into my sinks and tub... so I call the office to make an emergency maintanence request and they tell me that raw sewage is not an emergency and that someone would get to it tomorrow. BS!! I flew off the handle and demanded they send someone. They finally did 5 hours later at 10 PM. My husband and I have NEVER paid rent/water/washer-dryer payments late. And trust me.... with the water bills here... ranging from $50-$60 for a 1 bedroom apt... it was a struggle. Our AC has does not cool... they can't fix it. Our Aug elect bill was $450 and they refused to give any kind of concession on our rent due to the "lead" maintanence saying our air was working correctly. Now, its cold and the heat doesn't even kick on, but our lease is up in Jan and we are tearing ass outta here so its not even worth it to make a complaint. If you do need maintanence for whatever reason and are unhappy with their work, don't call and complain about that either. The next day you will get a lease violation for melted blinds. The blinds were OLD at move in and they use VERY cheap PVC blinds. Well when your window faces the sun in TX, they melt. They tried to charge us $50 for 1 blind. I threw a fit then and had to end up buying a new blind and replacing it myself for $10 to get out of paying the $50 they demanded. It was totally b/c we were unhappy with the AC repair. The only decent person in the office is Devon, who really tries her best to keep everything going. If she was the manager, I really think that this place would be running much smoother and be way more occupied.
