As previously said the floor plans are amazing for the price! I have lived at the Cascades for 8 months and when I moved in they had great management who was attentive, friendly and wanting to make the complex a great place to live. Now they will rent to anyone, I mean anyone there is more ghetto tenants than can be imagined. The management doesn't respond to after hour emergency pages. As previously stated, water leaks everywhere. Oh and the best part, when you complain about a valid issue they tell you to move.

DONT MOVE HERE!! That is so funny that you say they tell you to move because thats exactly what they told me when I called about having my dishwasher replaced or fixed. It didn't work for the first three months I lived there and it smelled of old stagnant water. I had the cutest floorplan and the price was good but I could not believe the unprofessionalism and how terrible the maintenance was but most of all the so called "Corp.Director" (forgot her name by now)... who came to the property once a month to fire a manager and tell the tenants off or to move out. All she knew how to do is put eviction notices on every door (or had her lil goofer of the month do it for her), especially if you wanted something fixed. Her management skills were non-existant, she couldnt keep a office manager, a skilled maintenance crew, or tenants for that matter. She is the one who told me to move if i wasnt satisfied with the living conditions. My bedroom and living room cieling finally got so rotted out from the leaks in the roof that it literally caved in. They had to pretend to do damage control by just half ass fixing the problems and never really solving the issue. They had 5 different managers in the year I lived there from 2007-2008. I had a toilet that wouldnt flush properly without overflowing, the water leaks were everywhere which caused mold in my kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom (thats why they have you sign a "Mold Addendum" when you first move in.) Needless to say, I could go on forever about the nightmare I experienced there. I ended up calling the city on them due to many codes that they broke during my tenure. Eventually we ended up in court and I won due to thier lack of professionalism and code of ethics which were broken in accordance to the TAA. DONT LIVE THERE, it's hell on earth. OH, and now section 8.

Please understand that disgruntled individuals are more likely to post comments here (or anywhere else) than those that are satisfied. With hundreds upon hundreds of individuals having resided with us over the years, there are many, many more satisfied occupants than those that post negative comments here. We ask that you be cautious when considering any comments (especially negative ones), as they may simply be from residents that did not follow the rules, not pay their rent when due, or made it difficult for us to address their problem. Also, some comments may not relate to our current management team. We strive to operate the community with professionalism and a respect for our resident concerns. Should we find that our employees are not meeting that objective, they are replaced. Therefore, there is great incentive for them to do their jobs well. We hope that you will come by for a personal visit, meet with the current staff, and see the quality and size of the units that we offer. We take our reputation seriously and hope that you will give us the opportunity to make our community your new home.
