More money from the working poor From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 9/20/2007 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2007   I went to the office to renew my lease today and got a surprise that now we have to pay to park in the parking lot. 25 for under and 15 for anywhere else in the lot. When I asked where the money is going to I got the answer that it is going to inprovements. Yea, right. When the new people bought the complex in November, we were promised all sorts of things. The only that has happened is new paint (which was needed anyway)and the office now looks great which is a facade because the rest of the complex is horrible. No grass, dog crap everywhere, mud all over the sidewalks, broken mailboxes and trash all over the place. When I asked the gal at the office today about finally planting some grass I was told there was too much sand and grass will not grow. Well, when I moved here there was grass. Sand just doesn't appear one day. Just another excuse not to clean up. I really am regreting that I renewed my lease.
