This is a note that I have written to the staff:

05 July 2003

Centennial Court Staff:

I am very unhappy with your staff and the way I have been treated while on your property. I moved to Arlington in January 2001 to attend UTA. I chose Centennial because of the convenience. That is all.
Your personnel have misplaced checks that I have written to you. At one time I had been placed, according to my lease, in a 2-bed apartment. I have always lived in a four bed. Ive had to go out of my way to provide your office with a copy of the check that I wrote. A reliable bookkeeper could have prevented this
I have not seen but one member of your staff continue to work on the property for more than a period of a few months, if that.
The staff, to include maintenance is very intrusive. They dont seem to mind disturbing me at all hours of the night with frivolous problems that could have waited until operating hours.
I do not find your staff warm and friendly at all. They all somehow manage to avoid situations, by phone and in person, if they are able.
The units are very small for what one pays. The furniture is sub-standard.
My roommates have had similar problems with your staff. Imagine the possibilities of poor management being that a multitude of problems exist in one unit and with more than one tenant.
With regards to the renewal form, I received mine on the first of July. This was the first notice I had received. I think its quite silly to charge me $150.00 for being 2 days late. I had talked with Jamie in your office on Monday about canceling my lease and thought maybe she would have said something about the form. I was at Fort Hood the 07-21st of June so again I missed flyers, supposedly.
A look at some of the apartment rating websites shows Centennial to be somewhere near the bottom of the lists. I have added my review.
It has come to the end of my lease and I have no desire to return to Centennial. I have found a much better place of residence, the staff is very friendly, and I have grown to know each of them within a month or so. The property is beautiful. The units are less expensive and roomier. The community is much more friendly.
Again, I am writing to let you know that I am truly dissatisfied with my stay at Centennial and will advise no one to take tenancy with you and have no problem with letting them know why.
