This is a well maintained complex. The grounds are kept clean and trimmed. The management has been going through some changes which makes life sort of complicated here, but they do try. The maintenence people do a good job but are intrusive and inconventient. These are better than dorms but smaller than apartments. You are going to pay a lot for a small space but DO NOT overlook the convenince of walking to class; this is the BEST quality about these apartments.
Looking at the floor plan of the two bedroom apartment set up is good. Request for new carpet or kitchen flooring is hard to get. They have had water problems in the past and you can see it on the ceiling. Paint on the walls is dingy and dirty but they will repaint upon request. After each occupancy they repaint the rooms. The bathrooms are a nice size. Getting stuck with a roommate or two is good cause you learn how to deal with others. They hold planned student activities regularly. The UTA police patrol the grounds ALL THE TIME. There have been many break-ins to cars and rooms. There have, also, been rapes and assults on the premises. It is loud on thursday and fridays and there is a lot of drinking and partying. A BAD QUALITY is the mail is delievered to the staff and placed in your mail box NO SOONER than 5:00 PM. They ticket every car without a permit. (That sort of stinks.) My own advice is not to live with your friends; meet new people! Good luck I think you should look more. DONT LET THIS BE YOUR FIRST CHOICE.
