I Am Breaking My Lease and I've Only Lived Here for A Couple Of Months...Here's Why !!!the property manager seemed very professional and nice...that is... until i moved in ! She is never at the office when she is supposed to be and she's not that polite at all... there have been several instances where she has been calling me at work like some sort of telemarketer asking about things she could just put in a letter and leave on my door...once she even got irate with me and hung up the phone while i was in mid-sentence still taking... she once had my power cut off without even giving me a chance to pay it or switch to another provider, and i have a small child living with me.she is charing me for the electric and has added all kinds of late fees...she also did this to my neighbors and they have an infant !! the complex is not all that well kept or maintained for them to be charging the way they do for rent. the pool is never open and it is summer-time ! i lived upstairs and the foundation is really bad. you hear the floor "creeking" and making all kinds of stomping noises, even when you walk softly... my neighbors constantly have trash and furniture out on the patio that we both have to share. once, they had so much furniture( table chairs, mirrors, couches, etc.)on the patio, to where i could barely get to my apartment without hitting some of their stuff and the people living below us have a dog, and when they leave the dog has terrible separation anexity and barks almost the whole time they are gone...the property manager would never get my apt #'s put on my front door, so if we have to call 911 for any reason, they are not going to be able to find my apt # because she would not put in on the front door !!! also, i could not get cable installed because the person that lived in that apt before me, or whoever, had all of the wires pulled out and spliced (cut-up). Please... if you have any kind of standards...Please Dont Rent Here... I'm moving to an apartment complex that has way more to offer...

Ive lived at Center Place for 3 years and I have not experienced any of what your talking about. I can only image that your atlking about the old property manager. And really sorry to hear about your neighbors. Since we have been under new management the property has changed drastically. The bad renters are gone, I hope one of them was your neighbor. The pool was closed but that was because it had been in bad repair from the previous manager. If you take a look around you will see a property that is finally 'HOME'. Have you noticed that is so quiet now and it is so clean. The new maintenence man is a gem and I have had him come to my home to fix some minor repairs. I always see the property manager on site until very late hours. She has always been professional and helpful. But I have had to be patient as I know I am not the only renter in the complex (did you think that maybe they are just busy...there is a thought!). I would also wonder what happened to the numbers on your door...that is weird! I would say that if your looking for a premium property where the management cares about you and your kids, this is the place to rent. I feel safe with my kids playing outside, and my new neighbors are a step above. Evidence that Center Place is changing who they rent to! Good luck to you!
